Our second grade writers will be continuing to work on their information books by gathering facts, interviewing others and determining which text features best support their chapters.
Math
This week we will take a math test on Friday. It will cover measuring with inches and centimeters, placing measurements on a line plot, solving for the distance around a 2D shape, and shape identification.
Reading
We have some exciting news! We started nonfiction books clubs this past week, based on each child’s interest. Children in book clubs are noting facts about their topics in order to teach the class. Later this week we will organize the information and create a google slideshow…. SO FUN!
