Writing
Our second grade writers will continue to work on their informational pieces by using specific facts in different formats for each chapter (how-to’s, different kinds of, glossary, fun facts, diagram, etc).
Math
We will be learning about measuring using inches and yards through some fun activities. We will even have opportunities to show our data on line plots!
Reading
Keep up the great work reading at home! The children have been so responsible with their Reading Counts books and taking quizzes… so proud of their hard work! This week we will be extending our study on non-fiction text by forming small groups to further our study of a topic. Children will then begin to think about how they can teach others what they have learned.
