Coming home today with your child’s Take Home book is an important resource to help him/her with tricky words. This resource lists some prompts or questions that you can use when reading with your child. These first graders have made amazing progress and right now they need time to practice their reading with you, their reading coach! Use these prompts to nudge your child to figure out tricky words or to identify when something doesn’t sound right. Please make sure that your child is reading every night. This practice is so important for growing great readers! Thank you!!!
